Alabama state parks

Managed by Alabama State Parks (ADCNR). These are statewide rules; individual parks may post stricter ones. Federal land inside Alabama follows federal rules, and drones also follow FAA rules.

Metal detecting Permit / permission needed

Using a metal detector in any Alabama state park is unlawful without the park manager's permission. Collecting or removing natural, historical or archaeological objects is also prohibited.
